Antik Mahmud was born on January 10, 1997, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He grew up with a passion for drawing and writing stories since his childhood. He started his career as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator in 2015, working for various newspapers, magazines, and online platforms. He also participated in several national and international cartoon competitions and won many awards and recognitions.
In 2016, he launched his YouTube channel, where he began uploading his original animated stories. His videos soon gained popularity among the Bangladeshi audience, especially the young generation, for their witty and relatable content. Some of his most popular videos are “Shera Boyfriend”, “Life Perahin”, “Noman”, and “Coin Toss”. He also collaborates with other famous YouTubers, such as Ayman Sadiq, BeatBaksho, and Nusair Saif. In 2017, he published his first book, “Antik Cartoon”, a collection of his cartoons and comics. The book was well-received by the readers and critics alike, and became a bestseller in Bangladesh. He also launched his website, Shopantik⁴, where he offers his webcomics and books for a very cheap price. He has published three webcomic series so far: “Noman 2”, “Noman 3”, and “Perahin”. He also teaches his fans how to make their own videos and comics through his online course on 10 Minute School.
